Its Friday, the second day of the celebration for this year’s Accountancy Week. There are two key events for the day; the year-level Quiz Bowl and Commercial spoof competition. The activities were held at the AVR at 5:30 pm. It is attended by the PICPA - Southern Leyte president, Mrs. Maribel Rich; the alumni and the rest of the whole JPIA Family.

For the Quiz Bowl competition the rules are simple. Every team per year level must have a selection of 5 representatives each team. The teams for each year level will compete head to head, table-to-table and whoever press the buttons first have the chance to answer the question. It is a team game this time that needs cooperation and teamwork of each member. Unlike the traditional February-type Quizbowl there will be no running towards the letters, no grand champion. It’s now a group competition per year level, the best against the best.

To add entertainment to the night, another competition was added, the year-level competition of commercial spoofs. Again each year level team had to present two commercials spoof. This competition was judged by the alumni.

The JPIAns showed what they’ve got both on academics and creativity. The Quiz Bowl was intense as both teams determined to win. And for the Commercial Spoofs the fun kept going on and on.

This time the Credit catches up with the overall poll, by winning 5 out of 8 Day 2 events. The tally sheet was now deadlock and we were heading for a winner take all Danao Finale. Whoever wins in Danao takes home the overall title.
