Through the years, Saint Joseph College started to improve and change for the better. It always wanted to provide quality education to the students. They offered eight(8) different courses. One of these courses they offered is the Bachelor of Science in Criminology.

It is one of the courses offered by Saint Joseph College. It was founded on June 1998.

In the beginning the Department was managed by Inspector Gerard Train as the first departmental Dean. At first it was only AB Major in Criminology, it was given with the Government Recognition (GR) No. 17, Series of 2001. The Recognition took effect on October 2001.

They Recognized its fourth year of the Criminology Course leading the degree of Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim).

In accordance with the pertinent provision of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, otherwise known as the Higher Education Act 1994.

In the later part of1991, the department has a new organization set-up, which was headed by Mr. Erlindo Pesaņa as the Dean.

At this time, it has a modern facilities in the Criminology Laboratory like, Comparison Microscope, Ammunition Chart, Radio Com with License NTC.

This department is a Laderized Program for security service.

It's first graduate was on March 2002
