Happy Fiesta, Maasin City and Diocese of Maasin!
On this glorious August 15, we unite in faith to honor our Mahal nga Patrona, Our Lady of the Assumption, Patroness of Maasin and protectress of Southern Leyte.

The celebration reaches its spiritual peak with the Solemn Pontifical Fiesta Mass presided by Most Rev. Precioso D. Cantillas, SDB, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Maasin. Surrounded by the clergy, religious, and faithful from all walks of life, the Eucharist becomes a profound expression of thanksgiving for Mary’s constant intercession and motherly care.

This year, our joy is even greater as we celebrate in the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Assumption—the first in Eastern Visayas—a title that affirms her place in the heart of the nation.
