The Cantabo Canticum Novum Mini Theater was filled with pride and anticipation on the afternoon of November 19, 2025, as the College of Business and Management of Saint Joseph College held its 1st Pinning Ceremony for BSBA and BSOA students. With the theme โLaunch: Igniting Causes. The countdown is over; your future starts now.โ The event highlighted the studentsโ transition into professional practice.
Hosted by Mr. Jared Del Rosario and Ms. Roxan Gono, the program opened with the processional march of students and faculty, followed by a prayer by Ms. Jona Maceda, the national anthem, and the SJC Hymn.
The Dean, Dr. Lorelie E. Dorias, DBA, delivered the welcoming message, reminding the students that the pin symbolizes both readiness and responsibility. Guest speaker Mr. Glymn Mark T. Mendoza, LPT, MBA, shared an inspiring talk grounded in his personal experiences, after which he received a certificate and token of appreciation.
Mr. Joseph Gerard S. Buhat, MBA, COMS, presented the list of students before the long-awaited Coating and Pinning Ceremony. Parents and guardians coated the students, while Ms. Dorias, assisted by the faculty, performed the pinningโa moment that drew smiles, nerves, and pride across the theater.
The students then took the Internsโ Oath of Professionalism led by Mr. Kristofer Magabo, LPT, MPA, followed by a message from intern Mr. John Jerald Lampayan and closing remarks. A brief musical presentation capped the celebration.
Short, symbolic, and historicโthe ceremony marked the beginning of each studentโs launch into the world of business and administration.
