Three more years to go, and Saint Joseph College would be celebrating its 100th Founding Anniversary. The Josephinians are enthusiastically anticipating and eagerly preparing for this milestone, from those that saw the many changes in SJC, to the fresh faces around, every member of the Saint Joseph College Educative Family gathered together at the Saint Joseph College – Mambajao Campus on February 10, 2025 to witness the Pre-Launching of SJC Centennial celebration.
The preparation goes way beyond planning the activities to be carried out in 2028, as it involves a holistic upgrade of the institution. Physically, new infrastructures have been developed to create more dynamic learning environments such as the Nursing Building, the new College Library, the Integrated Media office, and the Research and Development office. The iconic SJC Arch that was previously located in the middle campus was transferred to the entrance of the main campus, showcasing how much the Josephinians value heritage and the legacy of the past. Aside from physical upgrades, the institution also upped its game in delivering and achieving academic excellence, with educators, staff, and students alike striving to break previous records of success, resulting in remarkable academic achievements. Sports, culture and arts, alumni relations, and all the committees, departments and offices in the institution are working together to showcase the unwavering commitment of the Josephinians to transcend.
As Saint Joseph College embarks on the journey toward its centennial celebration, the spirit of unity, perseverance, and excellence remains at the heart of its mission. The preparations for this historic milestone reflect not only the institutionโs commitment to growth and innovation but also its deep-rooted dedication to preserving its legacy. Every infrastructure built, every academic achievement attained, and every effort made by the Educative Family is a testament to the institutionโs unwavering pursuit of progress.
As 2028 approaches, the Josephinians stand readyโnot just to celebrate a century of excellence but to embrace the future with the same passion and dedication that have defined Saint Joseph College for the past 97 years.
