The faculty and staff of Saint Joseph College – Junior High School Department recently embarked on a memorable educational and spiritual journey to Iloilo City as part of their official Faculty and Staff Educational Tour held from June 3โ€“6, 2025.

One of the tour highlights was the groupโ€™s visit to the iconic Iloilo City signage, where the team gathered for a commemorative photo along the scenic Iloilo River Esplanade. Donning coordinated blue team shirts, the SJC delegation proudly represented their institution while appreciating the urban charm and cultural identity of Iloilo. The moment captured not just a travel memory, but also a symbol of unity and camaraderie among educators.

Garinfarm Pilgrimage: A Spiritual Encounter from Creation to Ascension

The tour also included a visit to the Garinfarm Pilgrimage in San Joaquin, Iloiloโ€”a spiritual journey that offered reflection and renewal. Known for its path symbolizing the biblical timeline from creation to ascension, Garinfarm provided the SJC team an opportunity to reconnect with their faith and purpose as educators.

In front of the pilgrimage entrance, the team posed with a banner that read:
โ€œSaint Joseph College – Junior High School Faculty and Staff Educational Tour 2025โ€
Destinations: Iloilo City ยท Guimaras ยท Gigantes Island

This pilgrimage reminded the participants of their mission not only to teach minds but also to touch hearts. As the sign at Garinfarm states:
โ€œHumility is the Key to Eternity.โ€
