With resilience, skill, and unmatched teamwork, the Saint Joseph College Lady GreenHawks Volleyball Team has reclaimed their reign as champions in a thrilling five-set showdown. In a hard-fought battle, the Lady GreenHawks showcased their strength and determination, securing victory by taking four out of five sets with an exemplary performance on the court.
The final set demonstrated their unbreakable spirit and unity, proving that they are not only one of the best teams in the division but a formidable force heading into regional competitions. This victory stands as a testament to their dedication, the strategic guidance of their coaches, and the unwavering support of their families.
A huge congratulations to the coaches who led this team to success and to the parents whose encouragement fuels these athletes’ passion. With this championship win under their belt, the Lady GreenHawks are now setting their sights on the Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association (EVRAA) competition. The Saint Joseph College Baby GreenHawks Basketball 5×5 team has emerged as Silver Medalists, showcasing determination and unity on the court. With many new faces on the team, their remarkable performance speaks volumes about their dedication and spirit.
Team Captain Louise Maraon, a Grade 11 student, reflected on the season, describing it as a “roller coaster ride” but emphasizing the pride he feels for his teammates. “We did our best in the last game and learned a lot from it,” Maraon stated, acknowledging the team’s discipline and teamwork that helped them level up this season. He also extended gratitude to the SJC community for their unwavering support.
