The Junior High School students stepped into the spotlight for Stage Struck Spectacular: A Showcase of Voices & Vibes last February 11, 2025.
Held at the Mandia Gym, the event began with an inspiring message from the school principal, Dr. Melodina Dela Cruz, setting the tone for an evening of captivating performances.
The competition opened with the Folk Dance category, where Grade 9 Marianus captivated the audience with their beautifully synchronized movements, securing first place. In the Grade 10 division, Josephus claimed the top spot with an energetic yet graceful performance. In the Interpretative Dance category, Grade 9 Josephus impressed the judges with a deeply expressive routine that conveyed powerful emotions through movement.
The energy soared as the Hip-Hop Dance category took center stage, with Josephus once again dominating both the Grade 7-9 and Grade 10 divisions. Their sharp, high-energy performance had the audience cheering.
The night concluded with the Modern Dance category, where Grade 10 Josephus claimed first place with an innovative and expressive performance that pushed the boundaries of contemporary dance.
The winners of each category were met with enthusiastic applause, and Josephus emerged as the standout team of the evening, taking first place in three out of four categories. Their remarkable talent, creativity, and teamwork made them the undeniable stars of the night.
The event was a true celebration of the students’ hard work and passion for dancing. Every performance wasnโt just about techniqueโit was about storytelling, emotion, and the sheer joy of being on stage. As the night came to an end, one thing was clear: the future of dance is bright, and these talented students are ready to lead the way.
