On April 3, our 4th year Accountancy students continued their Cebu tour with another day of valuable insights and learning.
In the morning, they visited the USJ-R CPA Review Center, where they gained practical tips and motivation for their journey toward the CPA Licensure Exam. The session served as a motivational boost for the aspiring CPAs, giving them a clearer perspective on the rigorous yet rewarding path to becoming licensed professionals.
In the afternoon, the students proceeded to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – Cebu Extension Office. During the visit, they gained a deeper understanding of the SEC’s role in regulating the corporate sector, and promoting fair and transparent business practices in the country.
The students also visited the Mactan Shrine/Lapu-Lapu Monument, significant historical landmarks that commemorate the heroism of Datu Lapu-Lapu and the Battle of Mactan. The visit served as a moment of reflection on the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
Another productive and inspiring day as they prepare to take on the world as future CPAs.
