On the first day of the celebration, the CLA Theatre Troupe had presented its 3rd Theatre Play Production titled “The World is an Apple”. The play aired exclusively for the CLA students during the morning and became open for the masses in the afternoon. The story conveyed themes of poverty and the struggles of the poor. The literary contests commenced with the members submitting their own original pieces of poetry, essays, and short stories.
Then, on the morning of the second day, games and activities were organized at the St. Pope Paul VI Minor Seminary, bringing fun and excitement as each member participated in sports such as Basketball, Volleyball and games like the Laro ng Lahi. In the afternoon, all the members assembled for the much-awaited CLA Soirรฉe held at the Maasin City Country Lodge. Selected members performed songs, dances and literary pieces bringing a warm and alluring atmosphere honoring the department’s identity of the arts. Winners of the literary contest were also announced along with an acknowledgement for the set of officers of the current academic year for their hardwork and commitment.
