The Saint Joseph College Educative Family proudly opened the new academic year with warmth, joy, and unity as it welcomed incoming Grade 7 students and transferees during the official opening program held on July 3, 2025, at 7:30 AM in the Msgr. Mandia Gymnasium.
This special gathering marked more than just the beginning of a school yearโit symbolized a fresh start and a shared mission of learning, growth, and Josephinian values.
๐ A Meaningful Opening
The program commenced with a solemn prayer, followed by the Philippine National Anthem and the heartfelt singing of the Saint Joseph Hymn, setting a reverent and enthusiastic tone for the day.
๐๏ธ Meet the Leaders
Dr. Melodina L. de la Cruz, the Junior High School Principal, officially introduced herself and the team of dedicated faculty and staff, before declaring SY 2025โ2026 officially open.
Maโam Jerone, adviser of the Student Supreme Government (SSG), then presented the newly elected student leaders, empowering the student body with inspiring young voices who will represent them throughout the school year.

The program featured interactive games and musical performances that brought energy and laughter to the gym. These moments created lasting first impressions, as students mingled, cheered, and formed bonds with new classmates.
The atmosphere radiated excitement, inclusion, and a strong sense of Josephinian spiritโa reminder that high school is not just about lessons, but also about friendship, community, and discovery.
