On the morning of Monday, July 7, 2025, the Senior High School Department held a Quipper Orientation for all incoming Grade 11 students at the Upper BCG. The event aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the Quipper learning platform, which plays a crucial role in supporting online academic activities.
The orientation began with an inspiring welcome address by Dr. Jhoanne L. Costillas, Senior High School Principal, who emphasized the value of digital learning in today’s educational landscape.
The session proceeded with an in-depth walkthrough led by the guest speaker, who explained the features and benefits of the Quipper platform. Students learned how to:
- Log in and activate their accounts
- Use class codes to join their respective online classrooms
- Access and study lesson modules
- Complete and submit activities
- Monitor deadlines and check their progress reports
To reinforce learning, a short quiz was conducted at the end of the orientation. Students were also reminded to use Quipper responsibly and consistently, ensuring they stay on track with their academic requirements.
The orientation successfully prepared Grade 11 learners for a productive and digitally empowered school year ahead.
