The faculty members of Saint Joseph College, Maasin City proudly participated in the PEAC National Secretariat In-Service Training (INSET) 2025, a nationwide capacity-building initiative for private school educators. The event was held at Holy Infant College of Tacloban City, Inc., from July 14 to 20, 2025.

This yearโ€™s INSET gathered trainers, staff, and participants from various schools across the region, offering specialized sessions for Junior High School, Senior High School, and K to 6 teachers. The program featured updated pedagogical strategies, values integration, digital tools for learning, and outcomes-based education principles.

The dedicated teachers of SJC took part in intensive lectures, workshops, and collaborative activities, ensuring they return to their classrooms equipped with enhanced teaching skills and innovative practices aligned with current educational trends.

This professional development initiative is spearheaded by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), in collaboration with recognized education experts, to uphold the quality of instruction in private institutions.

Saint Joseph College extends its gratitude to PEAC, the host institution, and all organizers for this enriching opportunity to grow as educators and mentors. The knowledge and insights gained will surely uplift the learning experiences of Josephinian students.
