The program opened with a solemn prayer service led by Sr. M. Johanna Calixtro, invoking the presence of the Almighty. This was followed by a warm welcome address from Mrs. Agnes R. Basay, Senior High School Academic Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to the parents, faculty, and staff for their attendance and support.
Dr. Jhoanne L. Costillas, Vice President for Academics and Senior High School Principal, introduced the Senior High School Faculty and Staff. She also presented the Vision, Mission, and Goals of Saint Joseph College, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to the holistic development of students.
A significant part of the meeting was the election of the General PTA Officers, led by Mrs. Norina F. Malto, PTA Liaison Officer. Parent representatives were chosen to work hand-in-hand with the school in fostering strong home–school collaboration. Immediately after, Mrs. Riza Lynn O. Siega, Vice President for Administration, presided over the induction of the newly elected General PTA and Homeroom PTA Officers, officially entrusting them with their duties and responsibilities.
Dr. Costillas also provided clarifications regarding the schedule of fees, ensuring transparency and understanding among the parents. Caroline B. Dag-uman, Student Affairs and Services Officer, presented the upcoming schedule of activities, giving parents key dates and events to look forward to. In addition, Julfa Vanessa Fernandez, Senior High School Student Government Adviser, discussed the school’s policies for awareness. Anaclito M. Sabandal Jr. and Ivy S. Melorin shared details about the upcoming Family Day II or the Intramurals.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, emphasizing open communication, mutual support, and shared responsibility between the school and parents with the ultimate goal of ensuring the holistic growth and success of every student.
