In light of the First Friday Devotion of this month, the Josephinian students, faculty, priests, deans, teaching and non-teaching staff attended a Holy Mass at the Saint Joseph Garden at 11:00 a.m. on September 5, 2025.

On this day, Josephinians celebrated the feast day of Saint Teresa of Calcutta whose life was full of faith, charity, and eternal devotion to Jesus’ commandments, living her life according to His teachings.

Moreover, the Holy Mass was also offered to the XY Club, as they are celebrating their Club throughout the month of September.

Presided over by Msgr. Oscar A. Cadayona, emphasized in his homily on saving lives, following the element of sacrifice: people should be loved, not used.

“Sacrifice to enter heaven by following the DPWH rule: Do Prayers and Work Honestly. In order you enter heaven, our calling is to do good and be good to meet the life meant for us,” Msgr. Cadayona shared.

Msgr. Cadayona also shared the DPWH rule for priests.

“Do not Preach Without Humility. The fruit of our deeds will prevail over the will of God”.

The First Friday Mass ended well despite the heat of the sun. All attendees received the true meaning of sacrifice: be good and always good.

“We are called not to be successful but rather to be faithful”. – Saint Teresa of Calcutta
