The ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ (๐ฃ๐๐๐ฃ๐) โ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ successfully conducted the Meet the Examiner & BOA Updates Seminar on September 27, 2025, at the Saint Joseph College โ Hacbang Gym.
The program began with an opening prayer led by the Saint Joseph College YLA President, Ms. Roselle Tagra, followed by the singing of the National Anthem through an audio-visual presentation. A warm welcome was then extended by the President of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants of Saint Joseph College, Ms. Jhoriz D. Pino who officially opened the event and set the tone for the activities ahead. To enliven the atmosphere, Ms. Zybelle Paquibulan from the College of Maasin rendered a heartfelt singing presentation, which served as a fitting prelude to the highlight of the seminar.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Gervacio I. Piator, CPA, MBA, D.M., FRIACC, Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy. His message was both inspiring and eye-opening, emphasizing that the CPA Licensure Examination is not an impossible challenge but an attainable goal through perseverance, faith in God, and the cultivation of good values. He also stressed the important role of instructors in guiding students and making examinations a meaningful part of their preparation for the board exam.
To keep the program engaging, the SJC-JPIAns presented a lively dance number during the intermission, showcasing the talents and energy of the student body. The event then moved to its closing part with the awarding of a Certificate of Appreciation to the speaker, in recognition of his valuable insights. This was followed by the closing remarks of Troy Wences S. Quindao, CPA, Former President of PICPA-Southern Leyte Chapter, who highlighted the significance of the seminar for future CPAs and professionals.
The seminar concluded with a photo opportunity, marking the end of a fruitful and memorable event that left the participants not only informed but also motivated to strive harder in their pursuit of the CPA dream.
