Last September 24, 2025, the Senior High School celebrated the culmination of two of the most important pillars of learning โ€” Science and Mathematics. With the theme, โ€œHarnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Celebrations,โ€ students gathered at the Bishop Cantillas Gym to showcase their knowledge, innovation, and problem solving.

The program commenced at 9:00 o’clock in the morning with the recitation of a prayer and singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Elementos adviser, Mr. Jeremiah Mangala set the tone of the event with his uplifting welcome speech. The masters of the ceremony then read the mechanics of the contest, and introduced the judges. After the introduction of judges, an electrifying dance number was presented by the Young Performers Club, it was then followed by a fantastic song number rendered by Sean Marcojos a grade 11 student. Then the reading of the jingle contest followed. The Sci-Math booth was then opened, and the Sci-Math jingle was performed. The grade 12 STEM was declared winner of the jingle contest with only a two-point difference than grade 11 STEM.

In the afternoon, the much awaited competition of knowledge, logic, and critical thinking took place โ€” the Sci-Math Olympiad. The contest was divided into three rounds – Easy, Average, and Difficult. Each level tested the participants’ mastery of Mathematics and Science concepts. Cheers and applause filled the venue as students answered the questions confidently, showing not only their intelligence but also their determination to bring pride to their strand.

After an intense competition, finally Grade 11 TVL emerged as the overall champion proving their wit, and quick thinking throughout the contest. Right after the awarding of the quiz competition winners, the excitement continued with the poster making contest awarding ceremony where creativity and artistic expression were recognized. Happiness overflowed as members from the Elementos, Young Innovators, and Mathletes Club gathered at the front to showcase an entertaining dance number, concluding the program with joy and smiles.

The Sci-math event was truly a success โ€” a perfect mix of learning, competition, and fun that inspired students to appreciate the beauty of Science and Mathematics even more.
