In thanksgiving for the life created and the leadership well directed of our School President, the Saint Joseph College Educative Family gathered as one at the Maasin Cathedral-Shrine for the Thanksgiving Mass in honor of the 55th Birthday of our Very Rev. Msgr. Oscar A. Cadayona, PhD, SThL-MA.

Students, faculty and staff came together as a collective faith-driven community as they expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Msgr. Cadayonaโ€™s undivided assistance; from his absolute guidance to his unwavering compassion towards the students that are like his own kin, in a place where it is claimed as a โ€˜second home.โ€™

The celebration began as the SJC Community gathered in the Maasin Cathedral-Shrine, in which was presided over by Msgr. Cadayona himself, offering prayers and wishing the President a continued grace to carry on in guiding the academe with integrity and vision.

Before the final blessing was bestowed, student leaders from across the departments and alumni representatives stepped forward to extend their appreciatory messages that were amplified by words of inspiration and gratitude. As the Thanksgiving Mass came to a close, the devout students were met with quiet reverence. Todayโ€™s gathering was a reminder of unity and inspiration and of remembering where we come from.

On His Very Reverendโ€™s Day, the school stands for the president who leads with humility and of purpose, with a compassion and concern for his students.

Once again, happy birthday, Msgr. Oscar A. Cadayona.

May the light of your life continue to enkindle. May you continue to serve and guide the Josephians with humility and a grounded heart in the years to come!
