March 16, 2025 โ Healthcare begins with those who choose to serve. To inspire future professionals, Saint Joseph College โ College of Nursing launched an outreach campaign for senior high school students to consider nursing.
The campaign reached different institutions including Sta. Paz National High School, Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy, Liloan National Technical Vocational High School, Himay-angan National High School, Sogod National High School, and Saint Thomas Aquinas College.
The outreach was led by Mark A. Francisco, Riann T. Felicilda, and Diosa Enchanta P. Cuรฑado, who shared their nursing experiences, guided by Clinical Instructor Cheryl Antoinette Ticod, RN, RLE Coordinator Xiomara Hanessa T. Paco, RN, MAN, and Academic Coordinator Virgilio F. Tingson Jr., RN, MAN, LPT.
At Saint Joseph College โ College of Nursing, nursing is more than simply wearing a uniform or completing academic requirements. It is about discovering oneโs true purpose. Students learn not only the technical skills of the profession but also the compassion needed to care for those who are afraid, comfort those who are suffering, and bring hope to those who need it most.
