Our lives are, in many ways, a collection of stories waiting to be told. Stories that, when shared, can ‘improve the silence’ and invite conversations that matter. They don’t have to be a spectacle. Sometimes, a seemingly ordinary moment, captured differently by an intentional photographer is more than enough. Sometimes, scribbles and drawings on paper become documents of thoughts and feelings far too complex for words. Sometimes, an ordinary person can inspire the world.

The Josephinian (The JMAG), the official student publication of Saint Joseph College, sees itself as a platform for such stories. Whether through still photographs, a series of carefully chosen words, a digital collage that tries to capture the soul, or a precise arrangement of patterns and shapes… we welcome work that speaks.
