Standing on the negative side of the proposition: โShould SK Officials be exempted from NSTP courses?โ, the Liberal Arts students from Saint Joseph College were hailed as the Champion for the Maasin SK Federationโs Linggo ng Kabataan Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition. The participants were Ms. Shane Gaviola, Mr. Leonard Francis Rivera, and Seminarian Russell Vaughn Tuyan together with Ms. Jennielyn Utrera and Ms. Angelica Labastida as their researchers and Ms. Treza Tomol as the adviser. Mr. Rivera was awarded as Best Rebuttal Speaker and Seminarian Tuyan as Best Debater.
Truly, even in the art of argumentation and rhetoric, Josephinians do excel. Together with Saint Joseph, we take the lead. Warmest Congratulations!

Saint Joseph College along with each and every community hand in hand, the event shows itself as a memorable time of the year for Maasinhons. May today bring not just excitement and cheers but also faith and love.

They were accompanied by the students, faculty, and dean of the College of Teacher Education, with the purpose of uplifting their morale and praying for their success through Godโs grace.
