WELCOME TO SJCEF! | The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) Team conducted an orientation visit for the Tourism and Hospitality Management programs on May 21–22, 2026.
The accreditors—namely Dr. Dante Silva, Dr. Lilibeth Aragon, and Dr. Marebel de la Cruz—led activities that included focused group discussions on accreditation areas, private sessions with the team, and inspections of facilities and laboratories.
Following the completion of the evaluation process, the Tourism and Hospitality Management programs were granted Associate Accredited status by PACUCOA.
TRAY RELAY
The first-year Hospitality Management students participated in the Tray Relay as part of their culminating activities, demonstrating balance, coordination, speed, and focus while properly carrying and handling trays.
The activity simulated service scenarios in the hospitality industry, emphasizing efficiency, accuracy, and attentiveness in delivering quality service. It also highlighted teamwork, discipline, and composure under pressure as students completed the task.
TABLE SET-UP, TABLE NAPKIN FOLDING, AND TABLE SKIRTING
The first-year Hospitality Management students participated in an activity focused on table set-up, napkin folding, and table skirting, showcasing their skills in proper arrangement and presentation.
Through this activity, students demonstrated accuracy, creativity, and attention to detail in following standard procedures in food and beverage service. It also strengthened their understanding of presentation, organization, and professionalism in hospitality service.
BARTENDING CULMINATION ACTIVITIES 2026
On April 6–8, 2026, the first-year Hospitality Management students conducted their Bartending Culmination Activity 2026, showcasing their skills in mixing and preparing a variety of beverages.
The event highlighted their knowledge in bartending techniques, as well as their creativity, precision, and professionalism in drink presentation and service. It also reflected their dedication and commitment to developing the competencies needed in the hospitality industry.
This activity served as a meaningful learning experience, allowing students to apply their knowledge in a practical setting as they continue their journey toward becoming future hospitality professionals.
