In line with its continuing commitment to campus and community safety, Saint Joseph College successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Seminar-Workshop for SJC Watchmen, College Physical Facilities (PF) personnel, and selected Barangay Tanods on February 5, 2026.
The activity was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Batch 1996 under the Alumni Care Program, reflecting the strong spirit of Josephinian solidarity and service.
The seminar equipped participants with essential life-saving skills, including proper response to emergencies, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and basic first aid procedures. By enhancing the competencies of campus security personnel and community volunteers, the institution strengthens its preparedness in handling medical emergencies within and beyond the school premises.
Organizers also expressed gratitude to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) for their support and technical expertise in facilitating the training.
This initiative highlights the enduring commitment of SJC alumni and partners in promoting safety, preparedness, and community resilience.
