The Saint Joseph College – College of Nursing successfully held its Orientation Program on July 6, 2026, welcoming students to a new academic year filled with opportunities for learning, leadership, and service.
The program featured the introduction of the SJC–CON faculty members, who shared inspiring words of encouragement and guidance for the students' academic and professional journeys. The event was made even more memorable through a lively community dance performed by the nursing students, showcasing unity, enthusiasm, and camaraderie within the department.
Adding a musical touch to the celebration was a special duet performance by BSN 2 students Riann Felicilda and Leon Baro, which entertained and energized the audience.
The orientation also introduced the newly elected BSN 2 Barite Class Officers, who pledged to serve their section with dedication and excellence:
• Mayor – Flora Mae Pedrera
• Vice Mayor – Riann Felicilda
• Secretary – Cazandra Valerio
• Treasurer – Francisco Simbajon
• Muse – Marieflor Vitor
• Escort – Leon Baro
As the College of Nursing embarked on another year of academic excellence, the orientation served as a reminder that future nurses were shaped not only through knowledge and skills but also through leadership, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference.
