SJC Elementary Celebrates a Meaningful and Joyful Nutrition Month Culmination

Morning Highlights:

The celebration began with a short but heartfelt closing program, followed by various engaging classroom activities. Pupils enthusiastically took part in fruit and vegetable mixing and learned about homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures using nutritious ingredients. Lower grade levels enjoyed their healthy food creations, while the Preparatory Department proudly showcased their vibrant and creative costumes.

Another special highlight of the morning was the Feeding Program organized for the Abgao Day Care Center, where 15 pupils received nutritious meals and additional school supplies prepared by the SJC Elementary Educative Family, an act of compassion and care that embodied the true spirit of Nutrition Month.

Afternoon Spotlight:

In the afternoon, the SJC Elementary Department held a Fun and Informative Reproductive Health Seminar at the Bishop Hacbang Gymnasium. The event began at 1:00 p.m. and was attended by pupils from various grade levels.

Mrs. Almira Leonor-Miras warmly welcomed everyone, followed by an educational talk titled โ€œHealthy Young Onesโ€ delivered by Ms. Gwyneth Napuli, RN. The session focused on introducing the basics of reproductive health in an age-appropriate and engaging manner.

Students eagerly participated during the open forum, asking questions and expressing their thoughts, making the discussion interactive and meaningful.

The program ended with cheerful applause, happy faces, and a deeper appreciation for wellness and self-care.

A heartfelt thank you to the HELE Department, led by Mrs. Rowena S. Madula, as well as the MAPEH teachers, faculty, and staff for their collective effort in making this event truly memorable.๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š
