UPPER BCG โ The SJC Senior High School Department organized an Informed Consent Form for Ethical Review Orientation on August 6, 2025. The event aimed to inform and prepare Grade 12 students for conducting their research outputs in alignment with ethical standards.
The purpose of the orientation was to promote autonomy by ensuring that students are aware of the risks, benefits, and procedures involved in research studies.
Moreover, it emphasized the importance of enabling individuals to make informed decisions and protecting them from potential exploitation.
โAs Senior High School students, you now take on the role of young researchers โ curious, determined, and ready to explore the world with evidence and inquiry,โ said Ms. Agnes Basay during her opening remarks.
