CCN Mini Theatreโ€”At the heart of Saint Joseph College, the Schools Division of Maasin City commenced its 2025 Kadajeg Stakeholders Awarding Ceremony, gathering partner agencies, institutions, and esteemed individuals for a day dedicated to honoring collective efforts in advancing education, last December 2, 2025. The two-part ceremony consisted of honoring stakeholders across government, education, private sectors, and civic organizations, as well as a keynote address from the SJC President Very Rev. Msgr. Oscar A. Cadayona, PhD, SThL-MA who emphasized the impactful role of partnerships in supporting learners and strengthening the Divisionโ€™s programs.

The event was attended by partner offices and institutions from International Organizations, National Government Agencies, NGOs, LGUs, Private Lending Institutions, Educational Institutions, Companies and Corporations, and the Office of the Province of Southern Leyte. The program opened with messages from Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Jaime Leon T. Cardona and Schools Division Superintendent Genis S. Murallos, EdD, CESO V, followed by an audiovisual tribute titled “Faces of Stakeholder Impact.”

The event was also graced with responses from Hon. Damian G. Mercado, Governor of Southern Leyte Province and the City Mayor Hon. Luz V. Mercado. Performances from the Ajonay Dance Maasin City NHS Dance Troupe and Asuncion IS Rondalla provided intermission highlights as the program transitioned into the awarding rites. Certificates were presented to stakeholders across government, education, private sectors, and civic organizations, as well as to division winners of the Nestlรฉ Wellness Campus Program, Hataw Sayaw Year 3 Dance Competition, Sarap Sustansya Cook-Off Competition, and the Best Implementing School. Top-performing institutions included Maasin Central School, Maasin City National High School, and Matin-aw National High School.

The closing remarks was delivered by SGOD OIC-Chief Fernando F. Salapi before the program concluded with an early dinner and fellowship.

Beyond the formalities, the ceremony showcased the human impact of collaborationโ€”how every contribution, whether from a classroom, an office, or a community partner, creates opportunities for learners and eases the work of educators. Saint Joseph College continues to stand alongside its partners in affirming that progress in education is a shared undertaking, made possible through commitment and a collective belief in the future of our Ajonay Community.
