The visit was part of the Regional Director’s initiative to personally visit Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Eastern Visayas as part of monitoring compliance with current program standards.

“We are trying to come up with a new curriculum that will integrate Artificial Intelligence into our existing programs,” the director said, referring to initiatives from the CHED Central Office.

An initial permit was also issued by the CESO III to operate the newly proposed Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship program effective in Academic Year 2026–2027.

Likewise, issuances were signed allowing the Architecture and Political Science programs to open another year level in the next semester.
