The 3rd Year English Major Students from the College of Teacher Education has hosted a Campus Journalism Seminar and Workshop with a theme “Everyone is a Journalist: Equip, Educate, Empower” at the SJC Audio-Visual Room on April 25, 2025.

Representatives from various publications within the 3rd Year CTE Students prepared topics and activities to make the event engaging and meaningful under the guidance of their Campus Journalism Instructor, Mr. Edgarino Tabinas. Students from various neighboring schools within Maasin participated as guests to learn and experience the gist of Campus Journalism.

During the morning schedule, the representatives discussed topics and gave activities relating to Facts & Opinions while in the afternoon, more on so discussed about Feature and Sports writing. The participants were intrigued as each representative demonstrated their topics with confidence and astuteness.
