On the 10th of March, 2026, at 11:00 in the morning, the accountancy department gathered together to cordially welcome Hon. Gervacio I. Piator at the four-cornered room of the Cantavo Canticum Novum mini-theater.

Hon. Piator is a member of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Immediate Past President of the Philippine Association of Professional Regulatory Board Members, Inc. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of practical learning methods rather than relying on spoon-fed choices. He also highlighted the strong demand for accountancy graduates, particularly CPA board passers, noting that accountants remain ubiquitous and highly sought after across today’s industries.

An important feature of his address was the reminder not to leave behind the “religious aspects.” He also encouraged students to maintain focus on their academic responsibilities, stressing the need to minimize, if not carefully manage, extracurricular activities amidst the rigorous demands of the program.

He concluded with the remark, “See you in the oath-taking,” a statement that underscored his confidence in the future success of the aspiring accountants despite the scholastic challenges that the program entails.

In the final bit of the visit, a photo opportunity was given to the respective year levels, which allowed the students to commemorate the occasion and recognize the presence of the Hon. Gervacio I. Piator.
