The vibrant spirit of unity and nostalgia filled the air as SJC Junior High School held its much-anticipated Acquaintance Party 2025 on July 14, 2025, at the Msgr. Mandia Gymnasium, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. With the theme “Throwback Vibes: Friends Through the Decades,” the event celebrated friendship, school spirit, and student leadership across generations.

The gathering brought together students from all year levels—Grades 7 to 10—who embraced the theme with retro-inspired outfits that paid homage to different eras, from the groovy ’70s to the colorful ’90s. The event kicked off with opening remarks from the JHSSG President, Mr. Denver Cinco, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the evening.

A significant highlight of the program was the Oath-Taking Ceremony for newly elected class officers from each year level, as well as officers from various club organizations. The solemn yet inspiring moment marked the official start of their leadership journey, with an emphasis on responsibility, service, and collaboration.

Adding excitement to the event were live performances by talented Junior High School students, who showcased their skills in singing, dancing, and live band. Their energy and passion were met with enthusiastic applause, creating a dynamic and inclusive environment for everyone.

Following the formal program, students proceeded to their respective classrooms for a communal dinner, where they shared food and conversation, further strengthening their bonds. Afterward, they returned to the gymnasium for the much-awaited social party, where music, dancing, and joyful conversations filled the venue. It was a perfect time for students to connect with old friends and meet new ones.

The Acquaintance Party officially concluded at exactly 10:00 PM, leaving behind fond memories of laughter, friendship, and celebration. It served as a successful start to the school year, emphasizing the values of togetherness and positive relationships.

With its perfect blend of tradition, entertainment, and youthful energy, SJC Junior High School’s Acquaintance Party 2025 was indeed a night to remember.
