Saint Joseph College Maasin City was delighted to have the honor to host the visit of our honorable CHED Regional Director Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, CESO III, CHEDRO VIII, Regional Sports Supervisor Mr. Rolando O. Duzon Jr, and Mr. Rolando S. Galo Jr.

During the Directorโ€™s talk, he expressed his gratitude towards Saint Joseph College for playing a big role in helping the nation through quality education as a private institution. He emphasized that he felt relieved that, despite being a non-government school, SJC is still able to uphold valuable education for a great proportion of the city, Southern Leyte and its neighboring provinces.

The visit was a part of the Regional Directorโ€™s initiative to see for himself the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Eastern Visayasโ€ฆ. In his words, he said, โ€œI will spread the good word to the world!โ€ pertaining to how the school was able to meet and go beyond his expectations. He described Saint Joseph College as an institution that has emulated well โ€œDekalidad na Edukasyon, karapatan ng mamayanโ€.
