Held on September 24, 2025 at the Upper BCG Senior High School Department, Josephinians gathered to celebrate the wonders of Mathematics and Science through creativity, knowledge, and talent.
The morning session opened with the attendance of participants from 7:30 to 7:50 AM, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead. The program formally began with an opening prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, both led by the SJC Choir, followed by the SJC Hymn played through the sound system. A warm welcome speech was then delivered by Mr. Jeremiah A. Mangala, after which Bryle Tablo and Gerrynie Buslon presented the guidelines and mechanics for the Poster Making Contest. They also introduced the judges before the competition commenced. Adding vibrance to the morning were lively performances from the Young Performers Club and a special singing performance by Sean Jemuel Marcojos. The first half of the day also featured the Jingle Contest, introduced once again by Bryle Tablo and Gerrynie Buslon, with the judges later recognized through the awarding of certificates and tokens by the club advisers.
The afternoon session began with attendance at 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM, after which the spotlight shifted to the much-awaited SciMath Olympiad. Before the contest, guidelines and mechanics were explained by the masters of ceremony once again, who also introduced the contestants and the Quiz Master. The Olympiad tested the knowledge and skills of Josephinians in an atmosphere of healthy competition. Winners were later awarded by Ms. Reina Jessa Odilao, LPT, Mr. Anaclito M. Sabandal Jr., Jhoanne L. Costillas, Ed.D., and Mrs. Agnes R. Basay, LPT. To formally conclude the day, closing remarks were delivered by Mr. Anaclito M. Sabandal Jr., leaving a message of encouragement and pride for all participants.
The culmination day was not only a celebration of Math and Science but also a testament to the creativity, talent, and dedication of Josephinians in embracing the wonders of learning.
