The College of Liberal Arts organized its 2nd Pinning Ceremony for the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies at the Tagnipa Function Hall on December 12, 2025. The location was imbued with a joyful ambiance, as students, faculty, and guests assembled to pay tribute to the newest group of ELS interns embarking on the next stage of their academic path.

The event began with the prayer, then the national anthem and school hymn. The agenda then proceeded to the presentation of the keynote speaker, Mrs. Claudine Jhean M. Arnaiz, who offered perspectives and motivation to the students as they get ready for experience. Her speech struck a chord with those who felt a mix of excitement and anxiety about their internship journey.

Mr. Edgarino Tabinas shared a message emphasizing the internsโ€™ commitment and the significance of welcoming development through hands-on experience. The pinning ceremony, conducted by Mr. Chester Fernandez, Mrs. Beverly Briones Ravago, and Mrs. Noeme Garces, marked the highlight of the occasion. Every pin affixed to the studentsโ€™ collars signified their preparedness to utilize their abilities outside the setting.

The event also included a speech by Intern Representative Mr. John Russel Manlangit, who discussed the experiences of the group. Bringing a heartfelt moment, Manuel Francis Corollo sang “Just Once,” eliciting smiles from the crowd. A certificate of appreciation was given to Mrs. Arnaiz by Mr. Tabinas and Ms. Garces as a token for her time and presence for the occasion.

Prior to the program ending, Mrs. Noeme Garces delivered her speech, and then the Governor of the Liberal Arts, Mr. Crisante Resos, shared a message emphasizing the interns’ expanding responsibilities in the area of language and communication.

The 2nd Pinning Ceremony was not just an eventโ€”it was a gentle reminder that every studentโ€™s journey continues to unfold. With their pins shining proudly, the ELS interns stepped forward with hope, purpose, and a renewed sense of confidence as they entered the next chapter of their academic life.
