The College of Computer Studies holds their classy and glamorous CCS Gala Night 2026 at the Hacbang Gym inside the main campus of Saint Joseph College.
Starting the event, CCS Dean Mrs. Riza Lynn O. Siega gave her welcoming remarks before proceeding to the awarding of outgoing officers and incoming officers and the oath taking of new officers.
During the dinner portion of the event, the CCS raffle was held, with five lucky students winning various IT-related items.
The introduction of Mr. & Ms. CCS followed suit with the contestants wearing their respective factional team t-shirts. The esteemed board of guest judges was also introduced.
Before moving on to the next portion of the Mr. & Ms. CCS pageant is the awarding of the Best Capstone from the Capstone Project Expo that occurred two days earlier, with the winner being the capstone titled โMicomi: A Gamified E-learning App.
The contestants get sporty in their sporting attire segment of the pageant, wowing audiences.
Next is the awarding of the Best Comedy Timing for the 2026 CCS K-Drama Parody Contest. (Winner: Love Reset – 3rd Year Section S & U)
Going onward is the awarding of PhilNits Passers presented by the CCS Dean and Faculty, with the Crowd Favorite Award for the CCS K-Drama Parody Contest being awarded. (Winner: Love Untangled – 3rd Year Section T)
What’s next is the evening wear and the question & answer segment of the pageant.
A few moments later is the awarding of different awards to Mr. & Ms. CCS, before proceeding to the Top 3 Walk and Q&A.
With the judges deliberating their choices first, the Best Overall Parody Award was given to the parody โLove Resetโ by 3rd Year Sections S & U.
The emcee also announced with extreme enthusiasm that this year’s team overall champion is Team Programmers.
CCS Governor Samantha Kate Barola delivered her heartfelt closing speech before moving on to the coronation. This year’s Mr. & Ms. CCS 2026 are Mr. John Drake Gonzales from Third Year Team Debuggers and Ms. Angela Prado from Second Year Team Programmers.
The Gala Night ended with countless smiles and lively band music, with others taking a photo with the candidates or their classmates on stage, as this year’s night was truly lively and remarkable.
